Hello everyone! We've finally arrived at the weekend ... yay! Do you have big plans for Memorial Weekend? A BBQ maybe or a parade to attend? I think we're doing both if the weather cooperates. We had warm temperatures and fabulous weather for several days and now ... it's so stinkin' cold! I'm beginning to wonder if summer is ever going to get here ;-) OK, so I'm guessing you didn't stop by to hear me complain about the weather, did you?
This little sweetie is Dreamy and she's from the Home Grown Manga collection at Funky Kits. I've colored her with copics and colored pencils, and added a bow, some flowers, and pearls for embellishments. The papers are some older scraps from my stash and I have no idea who made them, but it always feels good to use up some of my leftovers.
Thank you for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful weekend and fabulous weather!
Hugs, Anita

Just For You
Happy Thursday to all of you! I hope you're having a fabulous week so far. I've been crazy busy this week and the days have just flown by ... only one more till the weekend ;-)
Sylvia Zet released her Naughty Puppies images this week and of course I had to purchase them ... I mean, have you seen how CUTE these little doggies are? I colored my image with copics and colored pencils and used some Glossy Accents on the mailbox flag, the puppy's nose, and the pawprints in the sentiment. I also added some Liquid Pearls and a bow. A very clean and simple card because I wanted the focus to be on the adorable image. There are three more images included in the set and I hope to find time to color those soon.
Thank you so much for stopping by!
Hugs, Anita

Inspiration Tuesday at By LORi Designs
( ** Please scroll down for my Greeting Farm post ** )
Hello again sweet friends! We have a new Inspiration post over on the By LORi Designs Blog today.
I actually made a shaker card! Can you believe I have never made a shaker card before? I know ... I'm always so far behind everyone else lol! Anyway, I was blog surfing a couple of weeks ago and ran across the super-talented Leanne's blog. She was sharing a shaker card she had made using washi tape. Well, since I have plenty of pretty washi tapes that I've collected and kind of never use, I figured I'd try a shaker card. So easy and I love the way it turned out :) I used the adorable Lollipop Saylor and colored her with copics and colored pencils. I used some Glamour Dust on the star on her dress and then added red, white and blue seed beads. I also picked up some red, silver, and blue star sequins and added a few of those. Sorry about the glare on the photo but it was hard to get a good picture with the shiny acetate. You can check out Leanne's amazing card here and she even shares the link for directions on how to make the washi tape shaker card. Now be sure to pop by the By LORi Designs Blog to see what the rest of this sweet DT has created this week.
Thanks for stopping by!
Hugs, Anita

Garden Variety Tuesday at The Greeting Farm
It's Tuesday so that means we have a new Garden Variety Tuesday Challenge over on The Greeting Farm Blog today. This week our lovely Rosie chose the challenge and she gave us a beautiful photo inspiration to work with ... I love the colors in this picture.
I used an older stamp on my card today. This cutie is from the Hope & Grace collection and it's retired. I colored her with copics and colored pencils and added a little pearl to the bow at her neck. Although I love the colors in this challenge I was a little worried about finding some matching papers ... and then sweet Suzanne pointed out that the Mabel papers by My Mind's Eye were a perfect match. Fortunately I still had some Mabel paper left in my stash! I used the die from the Mini Fleurs Clear Stamp set for my flower and added a big button with some twine. I used the Delicate Words Die for my sentiment. Be sure to stop by the Greeting Farm Blog to see the gorgeous work by the rest of the DT and to get the challenge details!
Thanks for stopping by!
Hugs, Anita

Oh No!
Good morning friends. I hope you had a fabulous weekend. We had some really nice weather and I'm hoping it stays around for awhile :)
This adorable image is called That Uh-Oh Moment and you can find her over at Sassy Cheryl's Stamps. I just love the look on her face and I'm finding that as I get older I seem to have more and more of those "uh-oh I forgot something" moments lol! Anyway, I thought the expression on her face would be perfect for a belated birthday card. I colored her with copics and colored pencils and made the sentiment on the computer. I added some lace, ribbon, and flowers.
Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you have a great week!
Hugs, Anita
